Green Space - More info

It was fantastic that so many people were able to make it to the Green Space launch event last week.  Over one hundred people called in during the evening and in our ‘exit poll’ they overwhelmingly gave their support to the idea of a new green space in Guilden Sutton.  This is a real boost to the project because it will help to persuade potential funders (including, we hope, the Parish Council) that the idea has genuine community backing.
We do have some substantial funding already lined up, but we need to start building on this now.  One avenue yet to be explored is sponsorship from local businesses, so if you have a connection with any business which may offer community funding, whether it’s large or small, please do let us know straight away.

With thanks --- Guilden Sutton Green Space

PS – photos of the launch event are now on the website in the Gallery, and if you select Kids you can see some of the fantastic design ideas put together by children from Guilden Sutton Primary School.  We also have a new Facebook group (Guilden Sutton Green Space) where we will post regularly.

Some suggestions for use of the Green Space
